Feeling cheated by www.Amazon.in and being harassed by Amazon customer service.
I purchased the LG Dishwasher (LG ** Place Settings Wi - Fi Dishwasher (DFB***FP, Silver, Silent Operation, Tough Stain Removal, Adjustable racks )) from www.amazon.in on **th September ****. From that day onwards my problem started:
*) *st The item was not delivered on time. It was supposed to be delivered on **st but it got delivered on **rd,
*) Installation took a long time,
*) got a defective product,
*) Amazon agreed to raise return request, but they did not offered to pick up the dishwasher. Their third party pickup partner should be picking it up (that's what told to me),
*) the dishwasher was not picked up from my home till date(**th Oct). It has been more than ** days since then. Amazon says, they can not refund my money till the dishwasher is picked up from my home,
*) On **th October while raising a new return pickup request, Amazon made a written promise that if the product is not picked up by ** hours, then they are going to issue advance refund to me,
*) I waited for more than ** hours. But the dishwasher was not picked up,
*)I called them on **th night again, but the customer service agents told me that they can not refund me my money till the dishwasher is returned. I reminded them about their refund promise that was made to me on **th October. But they straight forwardly refused to issue the refund and raised a new return request for their third party pick up partner,
*) I have bought this dishwasher from amazon on the agreement that, the product will be replaced within ** days of installation if found defective. In this case, I did follow all the terms and conditions. The dishwasher was found to be defective. But they did not replace it with a new one nor issued refund to me even after making a written promise (the email is attached),
**) Now I am stuck with the defective dishwasher. Can't use it or return it. My money is stuck with Amazon,
**) I feel harassed and stressed as every time I call Amazon customer care, I have to explain them the entire story and then finally they raise a new request for return and asks me to wait for * day or * days. I have been following up with Amazon customer service almost regularly since last month, but my problem is not getting resolved and my money is stuck with Amazon while I am not able to use the dishwasher or buy a new one.
I would request to kindly intervene and uphold my consumer rights and help me get my money refunded to me so that I can buy another Dishwasher.
