I have been a loyal user of Ola Cab and Ola Money for over seven years. On the morning of March *th, I attempted to book a cab for my trip to Mumbai. Despite trying *-* times, none of the drivers who accepted my booking were willing to take Ola Money as payment; they all demanded UPI. I informed them that I could only pay using the Ola Money option, which left me no choice but to cancel my trip. I cancelled all the trips booked.
I want to emphasize that I did not travel on any of these bookings, nor did I share my OTP with any of the drivers. To my surprise, at the end of the day, I received an email stating that approximately ₹**** had been deducted from my Ola Money account.
I immediately raised a complaint with support@olamoney.com and checked the app, where I found records of two trips charged to my account that I did not take. Notably, I did not receive any SMS notifications/bill from Ola team that day, nor did I get any details about these trips.
I believe this situation involves mismanagement or fraud on the part of Ola. Therefore, I am unwilling to pay any amount until I receive a proper explanation and billing statement from Ola. Such deductions without any travel or confirmation are entirely unacceptable.
