Ola in connivance with the drivers on outstation trips is cheating passengers and collecting bogus interstate charges with false SMS messages instead of actual bills and the customer care officials are simply not bothered to redress any complaint in this regard.
Refer my Ola Complain #********* dated **-**-****. I travelled from Chandigarh Airport to Club Mahindra Pristine Peak Resort, Naldehra, near Simla in Car No. HR**D****.
The driver showed me payment receipt for Himachal Entry tax/permit costing Rs. *** and two SmartTag SMS alerts of Rs. *** forwarded from another mobile number, not SmartTag.
I had paid Rs. **** to the driver towards toll, parking and interstate charges which Ola consumer care confirmed but they were keen on investigating the complaint any further to confirm how the driver collected interstate charges of Rs. *** showing bogus SmartTag SMS messages originating from another Mobile Number, not of SmartTag, when SmartTag cannot be used to pay for interstate tax/permits.
