Complaint Against: Zoomcar India Pvt. Ltd.

Subject: Urgent Complaint – Failure to Address Traffic Challan Issue (Booking ID: JPSNO*E**)

Complaint Details:

I, Jaideep Phogat, a Zoomcar host, am filing this complaint against Zoomcar India Pvt. Ltd. for their negligence, lack of response, and failure to assist in a serious financial and legal matter concerning a traffic violation incurred by a renter.

On November **, ****, my vehicle, which was listed on Zoomcar, was rented by an individual named Ranjit Singh under Booking ID: JPSNO*E**. This renter took my car to New Delhi, where it incurred two traffic challans totaling INR **,***:

Challan No. DL****************** – INR **,***
These fines were issued under my name as the vehicle owner. The renter has since blocked me on all communication platforms and refuses to share any details, including their driving license information.

Zoomcar’s Failure to Act:
I raised a complaint with Zoomcar (Ticket ID: *******), but despite multiple follow-ups, Zoomcar has not provided any resolution or support.
I formally requested the renter’s identification and driving license details, which Zoomcar possesses, so that I could take legal action against them. Zoomcar has refused to cooperate or provide any assistance.
The delay and negligence by Zoomcar have put me under severe financial and emotional stress, as i cannot afford to pay these challans.
Relief Sought:
Immediate disclosure of the renter’s identification and driving license details so that I can pursue legal action against them.
Zoomcar should take full responsibility for these challans or assist in waiving/recovering the amount from the renter.
Compensation for the financial and emotional distress caused by their non-cooperation.
