I had ordered my weekly groceries by * pm. as usual I was waiting for my order to get delivered. It was around * pm that might be last slots of swiggy grocery orders. Swiggy has not only cancelled the order without reasons but made it as non refundable and charging an entire order fee as cancellation fee.
Upon further talking to swiggy support over mail I was mentioned that as system record shows that they tried to reach me and couldn't they had to cancel and charge entire amount as cancellation fee.
I further took snapshots of my call history to prove they haven't called me and it's a night scam. What are they doing with the ordered items and the money? I even requested them to re deliver the items saying I'm ready pay delivery fee as penalty but clearly they didn't reply and had closed my ticket.
It's clear violation and Swiggy is using it's refund policy to scam people. I requested them about if the money is going to charity I would be more than happy to donate. I wish it reaches everyone and I get Justice for the act complete refund . But everyone should be aware of such scams. This can happen to anyone who orders groceries from swiggy purely being at loss for ordering from swiggy. Who is next??
