I have booked the swiss tour package with Thomas cook and they made me pay ****** in advance. I did inform them about my special case with regards to the visa. unfortunately, the visa got rejected. I tried to be reasonable and was willing to book another package with them instead of complete cancellation. They caused delays saying they have to cancel the existing file before they book a new tour. Then they came up with the story that they have already booked the air tickets and had to cancel them. I retorted saying, no company issues the ticket before the visa is approved. They stopped taking calls from us and would not even return our calls.After a lot of chasing they replied saying the amount is not refundable as per their cancellation policy.
Many thanks for your proactive approach and prompt action. This has accelerated and helped in resolving my issue.
