Tushar Verma filed complaint against Airtel on May 2, 2020
Complaint Details-
*. My Bill has been doubled in the first month of Lockdown Period. Earlier was paying INR *** but from the bill month of **-Feb to **-March it shotted to INR ***.
I tried to contact with customer executives but it always says that executives are not available for your help during this period. This truely shows that Airtel became MONEY MINDED and started taking advantages of existing situation to earn profit as much as they can from customer.
*. My Bill plan has got changed without my consent. Even though in my previous discussion with promotional calls with company persons I had clearly denied to not to change my plan in order to continue with connection.
*. Speed of revised plan is not as per what is being mentioned in plan details.
*. For the bill month of **-March to **-April, My Bill amount again got shooted to INR *** rs. Again tried to connect with customer care via phone, Email but no information. I got a response in Twitter saying that Company has discontinued the lifetime discount coupons which was activated in my plans for lifetime without information.
*. The bill cycle got changed. Earlier it was till **th of every month but now they have revised it to *th of every month.
*. After escalating it to twitter, I got a text msg on my register mobile number from Airtel that INR** is being credited in my account for the bill month of April, but it did not get settled in the same month cycle and ultimately looking at the last date, had to pay the entire said bill amount.
*. I tried to check the bill from My AIRTEL App, for the month of **-March to **-April Bill, they were showing the outstanding amount of *** to pay (INR** referring to text msg to adjust) and in app they were showing outstanding INR***. Later when I checked the Bill on email, they changed the outstanding value from INR *** to INR ***.
*. They have activated E-Bill services without taking approval. (This point is tolerable looking at the current Virus pedamic situation)
