RAJIV RANA filed complaint against Makemytrip on May 26, 2020
Hi Team,
We had booked return flights from Delhi to Pune which bear the booking Id : NF************** at makemytrip.
The travel includes an aged person and two children along with their parents which are at higher risk of getting infected according to WHO guidelines.
The details of passengers are as below -
Mr. Rajive Rana

Mrs. Sonia
Master Aaditya
Master Shorya
Amid this covid-** pandemic we seek your needed help for cancellation and full refund of our money.
The purpose of this travel was tourism, with the number of cases rising every day we don't think it will be a very wise decision to travel to a red zone and invite the disease.
Kindly contemplate and assist.
---> I have tried to reach out to on phone to no avail, my last makemytrip service request Reference No. ***************** was automatically marked as resolved even if i didn't get the required information.
It is to draw your kind attention towards the request which i made on your portal for complete refund of my booking (Id : NF**************).
At this stage the whole country is facing an invincible deadly threat of COVID-** and it is totally unsafe to travel and that too a place (PUNE) which is a hotspot of this pandemic. Kindly contemplate and ponder over the circumstances.
My family had been the loyal customers of MMT and i would like to get a full refund of this flight booking.
I do understand that this situation was never foreseen by either of the airline or me but at the same time it has become a humanity crisis.
No one in this world would prioritize travelling to a highly infected place (PUNE) over his family well-being.
Please let me know the status of my request ASAP, also in case when you unable to provide me with refund and in that case i would seek a legal opinion.
Ministry of civil aviation has already cancelled all domestic flights to red zones, Pune being one of them, I am not sure what is taking you so long to reply.
