Radhesh Ramanathan filed complaint against Air France on Jul 17, 2021
I am writing this to express my frustration and disappointment due to my experience travelling with Air France airlines. I had to travel in Air France flight on **th July ****, from Chennai to Belgrade (MAA-CDG in Flight no. AF *** and CDG to BEG in flight no. AF **** (operated by Air serbia flight no. JU***)). It was a business class ticket and my experience started bad right from the first move. Following are the events that took place
*. At Chennai airport, i started check-in and the AF airport staff said the system is not working. After sometime they said they will make a manual boarding pass and gave me a manual boarding pass asking me to collect the second leg boarding pass from CDG. Boarding pass was filled manually which would have caused these issues.
*. I had very limited time for the transit at CDG and I had to run from one terminal to another terminal and collect my second leg boarding pass again. The staff at CDG airport confirmed that i have * check-in baggage. The flight was also late
*. I reached BEG airport and to my surprise I did not find my check in baggage. So I decided to raise a complaint at BEG airport. I was in the queue for almost ** minutes to register a complaint. The complaint copy with file reference is also attached herewith.
*. I was calling the airport for next two days and no one picked up the call after multiple tries.
*. By then my travel agent from India called Air France office and he was given some reference no. AF****** saying that the baggage was sent through the Flight AF**** on **th July **. I called multiple times again and no on to pick up the call.
*. I visited the airport on ** July ** and the staff there again told me that they did not receive my baggage yet. They confirmed that they received notification about rush no. AF****** but the baggage did not reach them
*. My travel agent called Air France multiple time and no luck expect getting a feedback every time that you will get the baggage in * day.
*. * days gone and even I visited the airport today and the same answer.
I came here as a tourist and all my cloths medicines and some important documents were in my baggage that was lost. Its really very painful when you land in a totally new country and you lost baggage without anything in hand.
I had to undergo lots of stress mentally and physically. god know when will I receive my baggage. Need Help!
