Brief about the Myself and Exam Sceduled: I work as a Senior Cloud Architect in an IT Company. I have already given * exams for AWS Certifications. This was my *th Exam and due to covid situations, I scheduled my exam using Onvue Proctor from Home only as Online. I have been preparing for this exam since last * months. This AWS Certified Security Specialty Exam (SCS-C**) which costs *** USD including GST and duration of exam is *** minutes excluding **-** minutes of check in Period. Its round *+ Hrs of exam , What I meant is that you need to sit on the chair for *+ Hours.
What happened During Exam: Finally, day (**.**.****) come for the exam. It was scheduled for *.** PM IST. First, this Pearson Vue Application called ONVUE is so slow that it took ** minutes to launch and check-in. I was checked in and some proctor said "hello" to me. Her name was Harpreet or Jaspreet. It asked me to upload all the pictures of my testing space via cell phone and upload. Very tiring process and pathetic way they have. After checking in again it took ** minutes to finally exam to come up on my screen.
After spending * hours of exam and my exam was going pretty well I got natures call and felt like going to loo. I shouted on my laptop “ Proctor you there” “Proctor You there”. There was no response from Proctor side. I kept quite and tried to control the nature’s call and not going to loo.
After ** minutes , when situation got worst, I again shouted “ Proctor you there” and types on the chat as well. This time proctor was Sabhya as I could see her name in the chat. She asked me to type on the chat. I typed and also shouted on Laptop’s microphone. Chat did not respond as messages were not going when I was clicking Arrow button. This all should have been recorded in the onscreen recording via VUE Application. There was no response again and I rushed for the loo otherwise my urine tube could have blasted. After **-** Secs I was back to the screen. What I coud find, is she revoked my exam and reported case ref number ********.
This all I could manage though I am going through heavy medications of antidepressants which can’t let me stop urinate for long time. I also sent those documents to AWS as well. Still I sat for * hrs without any intervention.
I want PearsonVue to address below queries.
*) Why proctor got changed.
*) Why second proctor(Sabhya) did not respond to candidate queries.
*) Why proctor did not warn me either on chat or on mic before I rushed for loo.
*) Why proctor did not allow me for Nature’s call and loo.
*) Who would compensate my * months preparation time along with ***$
*) While I am already depression and anxiety patient; I could not sleep due to this incident and this led to anxiety increase. Who would compensate this emotional health torture.
*) Why Proctor did not schedule a break after I asked her and shouted for her.
*) Who will take actions against poor proctoring conduct via PearsonVue
Poor Pearson VUE customer support hotline
The hard-to-find customer hotline was irresponsive and un-user-friendly. I finally found the contact no. on Google and called on the morning of the exam, I pressed the numbers, then no music and no instruction was played asking me to wait or hang up...I waited for some time no feedback, and time was wasted. I sent mails as well but there is no positive response.
I request you to go through the recording and compensate me with my time, my money, and my emotional health.
