Sagar Maganbhai Rupareliya filed complaint against Paytm on May 7, 2021
My name is Sagar Rupareliya and I am resided in Canada. I want to make my complaint against "Paytm" as they have hold my amount of INR *****which should be refunded to my account as my booking was cancelled by the Airlines. My booking ID is ***********. I am here by explaining the situation I got into with Paytm India, I booked my Air ticket with British Airways using Paytm online booking portal on December **th, **** and paid total amount of INR ***** to fly on my departure date **tg Dec, **** from Toronto to Ahmedabad. When I was trying get my boarding at the Airport (Toronto Pearson Airport), I was denied to get on board because of my visa issues so at the desk boarding officer cancelled my booking at the spot and asked me to get refund from my travel agent (Paytm). Since **th of December, **** I have raised a request regarding my refund from Paytm and still asking for it. I have tried to call them literally everyday and I am not getting any kind of sure answer of when I will receive my refund amount. I have requested British Airways to look into my case and help me out as soon as possible but they are tied with their policy as they can not help me much on my third party booking. As per my conversation with British Airways helpline India they told me that Paytm has never contacted them to get information on my case and Paytm is saying that they are waiting for British Airways response to claim my refund from them. I have send all evidence that says enough that I am eligible to claim my refund from Paytm regarding my booking. I have send a photograph of the hard copy to Paytm as they asked for it. I hope you will understand my situation on this and help me as much as possible by your side. Thank you in advance.
