On March **, **** around *AM, I took an uber cab from Bangalore airport to Indiranagar. The trip receipt showed a toll charge of Rs.***, but the driver fraudulently took a backside route from the airport to avoid the toll plaza and hence did not pay the toll.
As a proof, the airport toll plaza is located at https://goo.gl/maps/BtPgGYurQXE* and the route the driver took and shown clearly in the receipt email doesn't pass through this location.
I raised the issue with Uber customer care and even after repeated inquiries, customer care insists that the toll is applicable and not ready to confirm or accept that the toll was not paid in the first place. After many deliberations, I got call from Uber customer care who was again trying to force me to accept that the charge can't be changed. Even though the executive accepted toll is not paid in the call, he was trying to pass off saying once a trip is paid, it can't be reversed.
I need refund of this amount and Uber should correct the airport toll charging policy in their system to include the toll only when the route passes through the toll plaza.
