I was booking a hotel (The Fern Residency Jaipur) on August *, **** via Agoda, I chose the buy now pay later option which redirected me to the debit/credit card payment gateway. I entered by HDFC bank debit card details and the bill amount of ****.** got debited from my account (despite it being a pay later option that showed to be paid by Aug **, **). The amount got debited in the name of Retail Domestic PT as per my bank's transaction SMS. Then the site redirect to a failed payment message with the payment details page reappearing. Please find attached screenshot. Agoda's customer helpline number as well as bot assistance is pathetic and it asks for a booking ID for reference, which one cant give in such case as none has been provided.
