Akshay Gattani filed complaint against Amazon on May 19, 2021
I have ordered * products from Amazon on May **, ****. One is the JD* Chair and another is BLUEWUD Amalet Study table. The first product "JD* Chair" is already being delivered, however I did not get the my study table yet. I have couple of issues that is being explained as below. I request you to have a look at it and please resolve this on earliest:
*. The "JD* ergonomic chair" that you have sent me is not actually a JD* chair. It is a different brand that I have received this chair from. The quality is so poor that I would not spend **** INR on this kind of chair. I have already attached the documentation on your system and you can find that out. I called for this concern and spoke to Rajalaxmi about this concern. She wanted to help me out but your crazy policies did not allow her to help me. I was expecting a replacement of the chair which I did not get it because it was not available in the area. I offered that I can get it replaced by some other chair but she was not able to do so as your policies were not allowing her to do so. Later she advised me to check the replacement after * days and if I am getting a replacement that I can get an another JD* chair from you, and if there will be no replacement then I can get a full refund. I was not satisfied with the answer however, I had to. Because I did not have any option. I paid **** INR for the chair and I considered it as a financial loss on my end and Okay keeping this chair with me.
*. The "BLUEWUD Amalet Study table" that I have ordered on May **, **** was supposed to get delivered on May **, ****. On May **, **** I have received a call from Amazon to confirm the order and delivery time. I have confirmed the same on the call. I was constantly tracking the order and everything was fine before May **, ****. On May **, **** the shipment was out from Amazon Facility Delhi and was showing on the way. I was expecting it to be delivered on May **, **** before ** PM. However, when I check the shipment tracking status it was still the same and there was no update on the app. I thought that there could be a problem due to which the app is not yet updated and tried contacting the Amazon Support. The first agent I spoke to was so rude and disconnected my call, then I called you back and I asked your agent to connect me to supervisor and then again agent disconnected the call. I called again third time and spoke to "Sureswari S" and she told me that no agent at Amazon can help me tracking the order and it is somewhere in transit. I understand that it could be there however I have asked them to check if it can be delivered on time or not, she clearly denied that they cannot check the details, I was just tired of the customer service and asked her to connect to the senior, she told me that she will escalate the same to the concern team and the issue will be resolved. I agreed with her and advised that I will wait for it.
The very next day (Today), I again checked the tracking status on my app and there is still not update. This time I was seriously shocked and was curious to know that where my product is, as it is not possible anything to take more then ** hours to reach from Delhi to Jaipur. If it was me I could have travelled * time in a train/bus. I called to customer support and asked about the same and spoke to one of the senior "Akhil B". He still was not able to get the information on the product and was not able to get the location. I was very pissed of knowing that, as it cannot be possible that my product is there lying on the road for more than * days. I have asked Akhil to help me with this situation and his solution to resolve this issue was to cancel the order while I am in need this product and waited for this product for * days. He was not at all ready to help me. I requested him to escalate the call to his senior and he denied for it. I did not have any option here as well and ask for the nodal officers email address which is my right as a customer. He was not even sure that what nodal officer is. He was not at all trained to help the users and cannot be a good resource of an organisation.
After all these efforts of mine I still don't know where my product is and didn't get any help from any of your support executive in last * conversation.
I’ve tried reporting the same to the grievance office and did not get any response from them. They have promised me to call between * hours but did not call me.
