Urban Clap - A common Indian Citizen is being Harassed by Urban ClapNoida

Dear Concern,
I am writing this mail with a lot of hope & belief that concerned authorities will intervene to get the issue sorted out for a common man, who believes that our country is the best place in the world to stay.

This is bring to your notice that recently, I have ordered for a repair service of Split AC from a Brand called Urban Clap with the hope that I will get the required service on time & the said Brand will deliver in terms of transparency of parts & pricing. But I realised that the said Company is being managed by a Bunch of Cheaters & frauds who take hard earned money of Middle customers in advance & keep harassing them. .

On *th of April’**, I booked the repair service by paying Rs ***/- online in advance. After that I received a message that Haider Murtaza will come for the repair word. Concern engineer has come & took out the outdoor unit of split ac to take it to the service centre (for replacement of Samsung original compressor).
When I enquired about the receiving in writing as he was taking the outdoor unit. He denied to provide any receipt. Later on I called Urban Clap helpline no, Customer care executive has given the assurance that they will give in writing but till now, I haven’t receive any confirmation in writing from them.

Also, at the time of taking out outdoor unit, it has been assured by the engineer that he will replace original compressor of Samsung & the product will have * year of warranty. After * days, on *th April, I have called up engineer to enquire about the repair work, he said compressor has been replaced & he will come on *th April yesterday on mutually agree time of * pm for reinstallation of outdoor unit. He didn’t turned up & called up at *.**pm – He said that, he can come now. I told him that it’s already late so would request you to kindly come in the morning tomorrow at *am.

When he came today morning at *am, I saw that outdoor unit is very dirty- so, I raised my concern, he said that it can’t be cleaned & when I enquired about the bill of Original Samsung Compressor replaced, he has given me a hand written bill of Rs ****/- without any GST & details of manufacturing Brand etc.
Hence I raised my concern about the quality of Compressor against the commitment or original Samsung compressor & the bill. I asked him to kindly take it back in case you cannot give me any proof that original compressor of Samsung has been replaced & warranty of one year. Engineer has took back outdoor without giving any intimation & lied to the Security Guard of the Apartment that he is taking again for the repair.
Later on I got a call from Urban Clap customer care at *.**am & when I insisted the customer executive Swati to transfer my call to any of senior who is capable of taking decision. She straight away denied & said that we, only Agent are authorise to speak to customers & our Officers doesn’t talk to the customers.
It was really surprising that how a Company can can be allowed to operate in our Country without any Grievances Cell & officers to address the concerns of Customers. As of now, at *.**pm, I have only received a call from Urban clap executive at *.**pm & he said that he will revert back with resolution within an hour but till now, no one has approached & I feel that I have been cheated & being harassed by Urban clap.

I would like to raise my serious concern against Urban Clap officials who are continuously harassing a middle class customer. It’s my humble request to the concerned authorities to kindly look into it as an App based service provider can't keep harassing a common citizen. This is a serious issue & looking forward for immediate action from the concern Govt officers & other bodies.

Also, I would like to highlight that No Corona Protocol is being maintained by the Engineers who come to the customer house & it has been bought to my knowledge that all the engineers are not full time of Employee of Urban Clap & they are just providing an APP service like Uber & any serious incident/Mishap may happen like Uber Incident. Would request concern Authorities to kindly intervene & save the rights & hard earn money of common citizen of our Country
