I have been using this mobile from past * years, now all of sudden while watching insta reels, it started to display a vertical green line at the center of the screen. Later I learned that this is happened due to updating the device with android **.* version.
I went to the oppo service center and they denied the claim by referring a very old miniscule *.**mm dent on the body of the phone which was happened over a year ago, there was no single dent or scratch on the screen. They told me to purchase a new display screen by paying *****/- INR.
I couldn't able to figure out, why do I need to replace the display when there is no damage?
I tried to reach out by email and tried to convince them that this is happened after updating my phone but rather than a physical damage, but still they also denied the claim with the same pre defined reason.
What ever the response I received from the oppo is completely illogical. I'm posting here after giving-up I really don't know what to do.
