Vishal Budhraja filed complaint against Swiggy on Sep 23, 2018
Dear Concerned,
First of all that for Your mail asking me regarding my issue but rather than mailing me you could have called me.
Anyways, today I ordered my lunch using Swiggy POP feature and order got confirmed also but after ** mins I received a call from your customer care team that order has been cancelled by the restaurant.
Then, I again ordered with Swiggy from the same restaurant ( Chaitanya Paratha) and again restaurant confirmed my order. After a wait of **-** mins I got a notification that the delivery person has reached the restaurant and will pick my order soon. When there was was no update for another ** mins, I directly called your delivery person for the update. He said, restaurant has asked him to wait for sometime.
Meanwhile, I started chating your customer care regarding the same. They also asked me to wait for some time. At the same time your delivery person call me that it will take another ** mins aa there is rush at the restaurant.
Finally, after a wait of * hr I received a call from your customer care that the restaurant has again cancelled your order. I was literally surprised that how can they cancel any order after * hour.
You people kept me hungry for * hours and gave me mental trauma. Not at all expecting this kind of service from Swiggy.
Note:- I went to the same restaurant to check the availability of the item. Both the item were available with the restaurant. So, either your team or the restaurant were making fool out of me.
