the thomson tv that i purchased on may **st still doesn't include the sport mode (picture and sound) which is clearly mentioned on the website even after replacement of a new tv. i have attached the product description snapshot on the flipkart website which clearly states sport mode is available for this tv (audio and video).
i cannot return it as only replacement option is available with flipkart despite their website stating easy returns, also on the app, i received the option of returns and when clicked on that, replacement was the only option which is deceiving, you either put return or replacement outright. i would have preferred return option and ordered another tv which has sports mode in it. the technician who came to install told me that the sport mode is only available on the *k ** inch series and not on the ** inch fhd one which i have and i need to contact flipkart to figure out why they put that on the site. i am a sports fan and i need sports mode on my tv and brought this tv after believing it has sports mode which was clearly mentioned on the website. the technician also told me that he has checked with thomson who confirmed this information. so thomson and flipkart do not seem to be on the same page.
i feel cheated by flipkart by providing me a product which doesn't fit the description. if a product doesn't have certain features, it should not be advertised and i would not have brought this in the first place. advertising certain features which a product does not have and tricking the customer to purchase a product by updating false information on the website is fraud and on top of that providing no option of return with only replacement option is cheating and using unethical practices to run the business and looting customers of their hard earned money. i now have to settle for a product which i am not satisfied with and would like stern action be taken against flipkart for using fraud tactics to sell products.
