Shailendra Deo filed complaint against Amazon.in on May 10, 2019
I have purchased a phone Oneplus *t from Amazon.in in the name of my father and the address I choose was also in the name of my father. Now when I received the handset I got to know that there are two addresses mentioned one is billing address in my name and the other in shipping address where my and my father names are mentioned. Then I requested Amazon customer care that the invoice generated is wrong. In the invoice, only my father name should be mentioned and please rectify and send me the new invoice. Amazon executive asked me to share the bill and then we will investigate and provide me with the resolution. However, till ** they have not been responding to my emails nor they were providing the amended invoice and the irony is when I asked under whose name this phone is registered. The executive answered that it is registered under no one's name. He said if you purchase the phone from the shop you will get the invoice in the customer's name and if you are doing online shopping then there will be no name mentioned just the shipping address and the billing address would be mentioned and the worst part is they are saying they don't have the solution for this and they can't do anything for this.
