- Tickets sold to an already sold out trekking event Open

BookMyShow sells me tickets to a trek trip that is already sold out and because of that reason I could not go the trip. The same day I raised a ticket with BookMyShow and they asked me to share the number of the person who told me the tickets were sold out. I did the same but I got the number from BookMyShow's page only. I was told by the trekking trip managers that they have already mailed for refund from their end. Now I'm being told by BookMyShow that refund is against their policy.
