Wanted to upgrade my sim from *g to *G went to Airtel office at Jalandhar cantt(Ambika sales agencies, ** grain Market ******). Found a lady at the desk who gave me a new sim and took *** INR, she then told me sim should be active within * hours. Having a good network is very important for me as I travel a lot and do quite a lot online business. I inserted new sim provided by airtel thinking it would be active, almost ** hours past and I missed many calls, next early morning I had to leave to other state for important trip, I eventually inserted my old sim and it worked. Now after * weeks I came back and tried the sim found its still not active, I went to Airtel office again (address provided above) and lady told me there might be some objections you should move this sim to billing to which I said I dont live in India and I dont want it on billing please fix this asap as I have already wasted a lots of time. To which she gave me sim back and said nothing I can do, I will not help and neither refund, you can do whatever you want to but your service will not be activated neither you will get any money back. She was utterly rude and very un-professional. Unfortunately their office does not have any security cameras or such recording device where I could prove all this conversation. However, proof I have is a text message which says “Your sim upgrade is in progress” and that new *G sim given by this lady at their office, which is still not working and she refused to help instead ask me to do whatever I can and she won’t even refund. I paid at their office *** INR on *th Aug **** and I was told sim would be active within * hours and today its almost * weeks and upon asking assistance I had to walk out listen from their customer support words like “Karlo jo karna hai nahi karungi help, take whatever legal action you can, You will not get your money back neither service”
