- Security Deposit Refund Not Received Closed
I had been living in a Nestaway flat for over * years before moving out in January. My MOVE OUT date was ** JAN ****. The house (HOUSE ID: ******) was for an instant deposit refund too. It has been TWO MONTHS to my move out and NOTHING has happened.
All the MOVE OUT FORMALITIES (including keys handover and house inspection) were COMPLETED and my DASHBOARD has been CLEARED from the app. There has been NO COMMUNICATION from Nestaway about why there is a delay. The only message I kept getting was that the house inspection is being rescheduled once every two days for a month after. Now there is no form of communication whatsoever. I have also raised a TICKET for the same where NO ONE RESPONDS.
I have spoken to CUSTOMER CARE where they said the MONEY was STUCK with the OWNER he needs to release it but that is NOT TRUE as I have been in
touch with the owner and he says NESTAWAY HAS THE MONEY. This was simply not expected. My move in process was also not good. I did not receive any of the check list items or even a physical copy of my agreement. I never even met the property manager at that time, the key was handed over to me by my flat mate. Even after that I didn't have many complaints as my time renting the flat was still okay despite facing quite a few issues.
This is highly UNPROFESSIONAL. I was going to have my sibling and her friends download the app to rent an apartment but now I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND it to ANYONE.
I have raised a TICKET (cc_********), I have TWEETED, I have spoken to customer care on CALL, I have written a REVIEW on PLAYSTORE but I get NO RESPONSE anywhere. If at all someone responds they say they will look into it and never get back.
TROUBLING CUSTOMERS like this is so so WRONG. Please refund my security deposit money.
