- SAMSUNG Z FLIP 3 A FRAUDULENT DEFECTIVE PRODUCT Open

*. I had placed an order for Samsung Z Flip * on August **, **** which was delivered to me on September **, ****. Invoice attached.
*. In less than a year's time, suddenly a fold/crease in the middle of the screen started appearing. I went to Samsung Store in Greater Noida and Lajpat Nagar *, New Delhi and they all told me to go to Samsung Okhla Service Centre being Qdigi Services Limited ("Qdigi"), New Delhi as apparently that was the only service centre who would repair Flip * phones.
*. I went to Qdigi around end of May/ June **** several times. Initially they were rude and asked me to contact Samsung Customer Care. Also, note that this service centre was more than ** kms away from my home. After visiting and sending various e-mails, the Samsung Customer Care got convinced and repaired my phone, free of cost after a month i.e. on July *, **** I was handed over the repaired phone. Please note that earlier they had told Flip assembly would be replaced as per company policy if no misuses, liquid logged or stab marks found. Even during handover Qdigi clearly told me that the fold/crease which appeared was not due to my fault. The free of cost repair and the statement made by Qdigi makes it very clear that my phone had inherent defect.
*. In less than *.* months post repair, my phone again started giving display issue. It doesn't switch on and there is a blank screen most of the times. I googled about it only to find out many others have faced it too.
*. After again visiting Qdigi and calling Samsung Customer Service several times, (+ lot of persuasion), my phone was finally collected for inspection and first they said it had battery + display + physical damage which would cost me more than INR ** k. This was told to me verbally by Ms. Mansi Chhabra of Samsung (mansi.chabra@partner.samsung.com). When I resisted saying this is a fraud as this phone has some defect and I will expose this fraud, another person from Samsung called Ms. Vandana Arora got involved and after various discrepancies in the stand, they told me that product is damaged first - then they said part is to be replaced which will cost Rs. *****.**/-, for which they are offering **.***% discount Rs. *****.**/- and I have to pay only Rs. ****/- .
*. I told them that I am not ready to pay a penny as this is a big fraud and if only my phone is defective, then they should repair free of cost else they should stop selling the phone in market and defrauding customers who are paying hard earned money for it. My intention has been very clear and has been communicated over emails which are attached.
*. Since I didn't accept their offer, now Samsung is not even ready to send my phone to a nearby address and want me to collect it. This is again another form of harassment. I am yet to receive my phone and job sheet.
My prayer is if my phone is defective then it should be repaired free of cost and if all Flip * + Flip * phones are facing same issues, then Samsung shouldn't be allowed to sell these on market fraudulently. I have spent INR **, *** - this is not a small amount. I bought this phone as I had a one plus phone which was made in China. Hence, out of patriotism, I bought it only to be mentally harassed and financially duped. I have travelled more than *** kms only to visit the service centre multiple times. What I went through shouldn't happen to others.
