For ** May I booked a room for * people for one day in hotel New Nataraj, Kolhapur for Rs.**** through Oyo App after seeing the *.* rating and pics of the room that they have posted in the app which was really good. Booking Id: WRBI****. I went to the hotel for check in and I paid the amount online at the counter. But when we entered the room it was totally different from what they have shown in the pictures and also it was really dirty. The bedsheets were dirty and when we saw the bathroom there was piss on the floor and there was this awful smell. We asked them to show another room where the situation was the same. So we went to the manager and asked about the pics they have shown in the app for that he told it's our marketing gimmick and so we told him that we can't stay here as we had two other friends along with their wives who would like to book another two rooms in the same hotel that we are staying and obviously we can't let them stay in such a place. So we called OYO customer care right away to help us with a change in Hotel or refund of the booking amount since we haven't checked in but they were only expressing sorry for our situation and nobody was giving us a solution. We even called their superior officer who promised us to solve the issue within * minutes and let us wait for more than *hour over a call Complaint Id: ********. We were stranded in front of a hotel for almost * hours hoping that Oyo will help us in this. But till today they haven't called and now they have sent a message saying that thanks for staying with Oyo. This is really shocking that we as a customer have no right in such a case. I couldn't just cancel my booking at that time as they will charge us almost ***% as cancellation fee so my option was to call their customer service where I didn't receive any sort of help.
