Cars24 - Resale of Car with defective engine

I had purchased a used car [Renault Duster CVT **** Vehicle Registration No. KA**MS****] from CARS** on **-May-****, trusting the advertised *** quality checks promised by CARS**.

After driving about **** Kms from Bangalore to Kottayam, the car started showing overheating issues due to defective engine. The vehicle was picked-up by CARS** for warranty covered repair works on **-May-****. This repair is currently in progress after multiple incorrect diagnosis at a non-OEM workshop in Cochin, Kerala, with a promised delivery date of **-June-**** which is more than a months time. Under the repair work, engine gasket was replaced first and later the technicians identified several other serious issues with the car's engine which needs repair of engine block and replacement of several rarely available engine parts. Despite the unusually long waiting period, the engine repaired car requires very careful maintenance and cannot be used like normal cars - as this requires diving at very stringent speed limits and requires cooling time after driving each *** Kms. This seriously disrupts the driving experience of the car.

I request CARS** to get the engine replaced from an OEM service centre for continued use of the vehicle. After getting stuck in Kottayam for about * weeks waiting for the repair, I had to return by flight to Bangalore. I also request CARS** to compensate for my wasted time and travel expenses.
