- Refund not received at full Open
I purchased an air ticket of Indigo for my friend and his family through happyfares.in on **th September **** for traveling from Kolkata to Hyderabad and paid Rs. *****.** (PNR/Booking Ref.: VD*I*B). On **th November ****, I received a message from Indigo that the flight we booked has been revised and they offered us a new time, which did not suit us. Then Indigo told us that we can opt for full refund since we are not comfortable with the rescheduled flight and hence applied for full refund. Within a week I got confirmation from Indigo that the refund has been processed, but when I did not get the amount at the end of November, I contacted Indigo again and they told that the amount has been held by the travel agent (happyfares.in) and afterwards I contacted happyfares and requested them to release the amount with immediate effect since I need to purchase the tickets again. I was shocked to see a mail from them that they have refunded Rs. *****.** deducted cancellation fees of Rs. **** which is inappropriate and unethical, because I did not do the cancellation as per my wish and Indigo only told me the flight has been revised and I can opt for full refund. Now I need to pay a higher price to buy tickets and they have deducted from my refund amount. Kindly help me to get my money back. I shall be highly grateful for your this act of kindness.
