Booking was done in Namahstay (Arambol, Goa) for * people for two rooms for two days.
We arrived around midnight to check in with our bags where we found out that there is no caretaker/ manager/ owner or even a security on the location. Ultimately one of the guests was ready to check us in. Yes a guest!!
The place seemed nothing like what is been advertised on this platform and is misleading. The place and it's surrounding at night seems very unsafe for women because of which I had to make other arrangements for me to stay elsewhere that too during midnight. Unfortunately, my male friends had to check in (done by a guest).
The rooms were in pathetic conditions as displayed in the pics. Beds/ pillows are torn and dirty. The floors are untidy. There are frequent electricity issues. There is no hot water and have cellular network issues. The amenities displayed are misleading to lure the desperate travellers. My friends had to spend few hours before they left the location next morning after depositing the keys.
The worse thing is that Goibibo is allowing such places to mislead their customers. They have not issued us a refund and their customer support is next to zero and uncooperative. Any ask for supervisor is left hanging for days. From the beginning, they were trying to suppress the issue. Ultimately they closed the ticket without resolving before offering us INR **** voucher which was not acceptable to us. They have also restricted to post the review on the property on their app and are trying to silence the voice.

I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
