My flight from Hanoi to New Delhi dated * November **** was booked on Ixigo with booking ID IF************** on ** August ****. The flight booking is covered under "Ixigo assured" which guarantees full refund on all eligible flights. The terms and conditions of this scheme can be found on https://www.ixigo.com/ixigo-assured . Point * of the T&C clearly mentions "The refund will be credited to the original mode of payment." However, when I requested for flight cancellation on August ** ****, I was informed by the company that they'll be giving me "airline credits" and not a refund, against which I appealed multiple times to customer care as this is against the terms and conditions of "ixigo assured". I escalated this to the VP of Customer Experience at Ixigo - Mr Vaibhav Agarwal at escalations@ixigo.com . I have attached his mail response where he tried to twist the terms and conditions to convey that they "refund the cancellation penalty charged by the airline to the source of payment". I have attached this response and the terms and conditions of ixigo assured as of ** August **** in case the company tries to change it on the website.
