Apple - Recieved defective airpods pro 2 Apple wont replace the unit

Purchased airpods pro * from amazon . The left side was having slightly lower volume than the right. Amazon told that replacement can only be done by obtaining denial of service by apple. Apple refused to replace the AirPods and also refused to give me denial of service. They told to accept the imbalance as it because it cannot be picked up on their software. They dont have to appropriate instructions and machine to check the left right channel imbalance of their headphones. They can only detect issues related to software and serious hardware defects.
I paid full amount and got defective airpods.
