- Poor customer service at Dell Service Centre Closed

Today morning I visited the Dell Service a Centre at Second Floor, **/****, Sankarassery Arcade, Chittoor Road, Kacherippady, Ernakulam, Kerala to rectify the breakdown of my laptop. The system could not be logged in after it was shutdown yesterday night. I showed the system at the reception. The lady tried first and then took it inside. A few minutes later, the technician came and informed that the board of the laptop is failed and the same needs to be replaced, the cost of which will be around Rs. *****/- No attempt was made by him to find out the complaint and to repair it. Instead he asked me to go to another service Centre near shipyard to explore the possibility of repair. I asked them to just copy me a file from the hard disk to my external hard disk which they bluntly refused telling that they are not authorized to access the data. Even after I requested several times, the staff didn’t help me. What’s the need of an authorized service Centre if they are unable to provide even fundamental needs?
