Sudipto Mitra filed complaint against Ola Cabs on Aug 30, 2019
My father booked a ola auto from his number **********, on **st June **** and the fare shown to him while booking was Rs. *** payable in cash. After reaching the destination Divisional Railway Hospital at M G Railway Colony in Bangalore, the auto driver's phone stopped working and he could not check the fare at the end of the trip. He asked my father what was the amount shown at the time of booking, my father mentioned *** and paid the same to him in cash. Later ola revised the fare to *** instead of *** and the payment method was changed from cash to ola money postpaid. During the past months my father is getting regularly disturbed, hounded and harassed by calls and messages from ola that payment of entire *** is pending for us which we need to clear. Why ola is not checking with the driver who collected *** in cash and now due to such ignorance ola is asking us to make double payment. We are really disgusted with such daily calls/messages from an inefficient organization like ola. We demand that ola take cognizance of the cash payment made and settle this ola auto trip for a loyal patron like my father. Presently my father is not in Bangalore where he took the ola ride in June, he is in hometown for health checkup so in case you need to reach out , do feel free to reach out to me.
