I made an online inquiry regarding a trip to Malaysia in the month of December and I got a call from executive Mr. Asker Ali of Ritual Holidays Pvt Ltd mentioning that they will help me with the trip.
After getting the details, I paid Rs. *****/- to book my flight tickets and got confirmation from Mr. Asker that the tickets were booked and will proceed with hotel booking once the remaining amount is paid.
When I called Mr. Asker after few days to check on the hotel details, I got update that he had left the organization and was asked to get in touch with Mr. Deepak. I contacted Deepak and asked regarding the hotel details and got update that accomodation has been reserved in Arenaa Star hotel from **st December till **th December and confirmation will be done once payment is done. I requested if I can get an accomodation in Genting Highland on **st December and Mr. Deepak said there are no rooms available.
I checked on few online sites and was able to book a room in Genting highland easily. Hence i informed Mr. Deepak that I will manage with hotel bookings in Malaysia. He agreed and asked for the booking confirmation details to proceed with visa processing and I provided him the details.
After making the payment for visa processing, I had to followup with them on a regular basis to check the visa status.
Meanwhile my flights were rescheduled by Indigo airlines ie. Chennai to Malaysia on **th December at **:** pm and Malaysia to Chennai on **th December at **:** am. I only contacted Indigo airlines helpline for booking the revised tickets and no help was provided by Ritual holidays.
After booking the tickets, I informed Mr. Deepak to arrange for the transportation in Malaysia accordingly and he said he will update me. I got the itenary from Deepak and the pickup time from Malaysia airport was mentioned as **:** am and drop back from hotel to airport was mentioned as **:** pm. I immediately called Deepak and requested him to arrange for transporation for different time ie. pickup from airport at **:** am and drop to airport at *:** pm, but got update from Mr. Anshul that the booking is done as SIC and can't arrange for transportation at my requested time and Mr. Anshul specified on the email that the pickup from airport will be done at **:** am on **st December and drop to airport at **:** pm on **th December for which i agreed and provided the confirmation email on **th December ****.
After making the full payment, I got the updated itenary where in the pickup time from airport was updated as **:** am and drop to airport was still mentioned as **:** pm. I immediately sent an email to update the drop time from **:** pm to **:** as mentioned by Mr. Anshul but didnt receive any reply back. So I contacted Mr. Deepak and requested him to update the drop time and he said he will inform the transport team and will do the needful.
After reaching Malaysia on **st December, I was unable to find that cab at airport at **:** am as specified and I was unable to reach the agency people on the numbers provided to me. The agency people in Malaysia and also Mr. Deepak were not answering my phone calls and I was waiting with my family in airport pickup point for an hour and I was able to reach the agency person on mobile at *:** am and got the cab to Genting Highland.
No guide was provided to us as mentioned on the itenary and the driver just dropped us at the hotel and went off. We had to explore each location on our own only.
On **nd December, we got the cab from Genting highland to Kuala Lumpur and the driver didn't stop the cab at any sightseeing places and rushed us to the hotel.
On **rd December, the agency had arranged to city tour sightseeing without a guide by SIC transfer and we were just provided total of *:** hours only. After dropping in each location, the driver provided only * to ** minutes to take photos and no information about the locations were provided to us. We were dropped back in hotel in a hurry at **:** pm and didn't had any other plans scheduled for the remaining part of the day. Hence I requested the local agency person Mr. Thaven to prepone the appointment scheduled on **th December to **rd itself and we managed to get that arranged.
On **th December, I contacted Mr. Deepak to check on the pickup timings from hotel to airport and got update that he will check with transport team and confirm. Later in the night I got update that the pickup time is at **:** pm on **th December for which I did not agree and asked to schedule at **:** pm as mentioned on email. I was asked to contact Mr. Anshul to change the pickup time and when contacted, Mr. Anshul was not ready to listen to my queries and kept saying he cant change the pickup time. I provided him the email copies which confirmed the pickup time as **:** pm and got update that he has left from work for the day and unable to check emails and asked me to contact on **th December. I sent the screenshots of the email to his mobile number by whatsapp but didn't receive any response.
On **th December at ** pm, I called Mr. Anshul and asked for the update in pickup time and he didnt answer my call and messaged on whatsapp that he is busy in meeting. He started blaming me that I requested for the change in pickup time at the last minute and for which I asked him to check the email confirmation provided on **th December itself. Even after providing all valid email documents, he was not ready to arrange for the transport at **:** pm and finally I asked him to do a refund for the transport alone, for which he did not agree. I informed him that i will arrange for my own transport and then I booked a cab on my own at **:** pm and spent *** ringgits from my pocket.
The agency guys didn't arrange for the travel, transport and with guide as promised and cheated us. Not fit to run the business at all as they are not ready to listen or care about customers.
