The Professional Couriers

A courier was booked from Mumbai to be delivered at my residential address at Jodhpur on ** Jun **. It has not been delivered till date. When I tracked the consignment no. it was showing delivered at Jodhpur office of professional couriers on * Jun **. However, I was not intimated by anyone for non-availability of the delivery area to my address nor was I informed to collect the parcel from their office.
When I contacted customer care they gave me *-* no's to figure out the exact details. After going through the vicious circle of calling these no. I didn't get a satisfactory reply and was asked to wait again for * hour as the customer care service person from Mumbai said to me to call me back and update me regarding the same. I did wait for more than * hours when no response came I called back and then they told it will be delivered today. When I called up Jodhpur branch they said they don't have the parcel as they have already resent it back view non-delivery area. Again I contacted the head office Mumbai to which they replied that it's not been updated in the site and asked me to wait as they will recheck with the local branch of Jodhpur. Post a few mins I was asked to collect it from the local office.
This gave me a shock as I have waited so long for those transportation bills which were in that package to settle my final claim with CDA (Navy). On enquiring CDA Navy, I came to know that I have relayed for the submission and now it won't be accepted for the final settlement. This has suffered a loss of ***** rupees and mental peace. I would like to get compassion from the Esteemed professional couriers for being so non-professional.
Secondly, when it was delivered at Jodhpur on * I could have been contacted to collect if they couldn't deliver. I could have collected and submitted my claim. Finally, all hope is lost. Now forced to complain against them. Kindly provide me with relief for my loss.
