The Zomato app is faulty. It always picks up random addresses from your address list if you do not specify it.
This time it picked my old address and set it as the delivery address. I noticed it only after placing the order. I immediately used the Zomato chat service to send updated addresses to the valet. But the valet reached the old address and called me. He denied to have recieved any address update. I reported this to the Zomato chat service and they said that since the valet is not agreeing to deliver the order to a new address, I would have to cancel the order but the ammount will not be refunded. On pressing the matter, they forcefully cancelled the order and the amount was not refunded. They said it's their policy.

This could have been handled easily. Since i sent the updated address via Zomato chat service, they could have connected with the valet and confirmed this. If the valet was to disagree then this order could have been passed to another valet.

Another similar case happened when the Zomato app prompted the Three Kings restaurant which was ** km from my address when I searched for Three Kings expecting it to show the Three Kings near my area since my location tracker was on. The valet then called saying that the order could not be delivered since it was too far. The order was cancelled and the money was not refunded.

Zomato uses such undetectable techniques to siphon money from their customers.
