I am writing to file a consumer case complaint against Swiggy regarding a recent order I placed on [*th June ****]. I am highly dissatisfied with the service provided by Swiggy, specifically the longer waiting time, lack of information regarding product unavailability, and subsequent cancellation of my order.
On [*th June ****], I placed an order for [Prawn Curry] from [Spice Hut] through the Swiggy app. Despite the estimated delivery time, I experienced an unusually long waiting period for my order to arrive. After waiting for an extended period, I contacted Delivery partner and he didn't pick my call, called restaurant with no luck then called Swiggy's customer service to inquire about the delay.
To my dismay, I was informed that the restaurant did not have the product I had ordered, and my order was canceled without any prior notification. This lack of communication and transparency on Swiggy's part is unacceptable and has caused me inconvenience and frustration.
As a consumer, I have the right to expect timely and accurate information about my orders. Swiggy's failure to inform me about the unavailability of the product and the subsequent cancellation of my order has resulted in a negative experience and wasted time.
I demand compensation for the inconvenience caused, including a full refund of the order amount and appropriate compensation for the delayed and canceled order. I also urge Swiggy to improve its communication practices and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.
If Swiggy fails to address my concerns and provide satisfactory resolution within a reasonable timeframe, I will be forced to escalate this matter to the appropriate consumer forum for further action.
I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter. Please contact me at the earliest to discuss the compensation and resolution of this issue.
