- My new trimmer stops functioning within a couple of months Closed
I bought a new Xiaomi Mi Grooming kit worth Rs.**** INR couple of months back. I've used it only twice and now all of a sudden the trimmer stops functioning. Since I have one year warranty thought of replacing with a new good item. So I sent out a mail to email@example.com and booked an appointment to nearby service centre. Initially service centre personalities didn't accept to repair or take a look on it saying they only do services to TVs and other items but not the trimmer and accessories. Since I bought this in Amazon spoke to them and reached service centre. Now the centre asks for Serial number of the product which will usually available in the box and invoice. We cannot hold the box till * year so shared the invoice and payslip. This time service centre says there's no serial number update in the provided documents and asked me to go back again to amazon. Literally i waited for * more month extra for this serial number. Later, escalated this case and amazon said HSN number is the serial number which is available in invoice. With this info I went back again to xiaomi customer service centre, they say this is not the serial number and asks me to raise a complaint with xiaomi. How can i take this forward ? Need the proper serial number for my product.
Its very bad that I didn't even fully explore the functionalities of grooming kit as I used it only twice so far and its not working now.
I request you to take this issue into consideration and provide a solution to this.
