Rohit Nanda filed complaint against Airtel on Oct 6, 2022
#Airtel, upgraded my GSM phone plan to the top of their line plan in their bouquet. Instead of upgradation, the system downgraded the same. On complaining to #Airtel, i was told:
*. Please give us some time to resolve. I have been asked ** hours, ** hours and ** hours various times now but no resolution in sight
*. I am being billed the full amount (of the Top of the line plan) on asking why is it being done when no services are being provided the responses from their service staff is as under (Please note these are actual responses):
a) Charges you have to pay even when we cannot provide you service as this is company policy
b) company cannot now bring you back to your old plan its not allowed, this is company policy
c) Airtel provides you #free service so there is nothing wrong we have done, wait and we will try to resolve the issue.
*. So in essence without getting service I am being billed the full amount and there is no resolution in sight as #Airtel believes that they are providing #Free service to customers and we should be grateful to them
*. To top it up on October *, **** my services on the phones were blocked by #Airtel and they still require another ** hours to resolve. (Till date they are blocked)
This is the heights of high handedness by Airtel, if the customer complains about their systems and processes, the best way to stop him is to block services and then relax...
