I booked a trip to Mauritius from **th Jan, **** to **th Jan, **** through Make My Trip website. My flight was from Mumbai by Air Mauritius on **th Jan at *:** AM. I live in Raipur, Chhattisgarh and I was supposed to reach to Mumbai on **rd Jan, **** at **:** hours PM through Indigo Flight. I wasn't able to do web check-in in Air Mauritius MK-*** flight and so I decided to give them a phone call. The agent from Air Mauritius said that there is an active cyclone in Mauritius on **rd Jan and the current flight has been cancelled and it will be rescheduled after cyclone ends. So, I tried to reach out to Make My trip agents and they said that there is no cyclone or anything. I told them them that the cyclone Candice is in the news and class * warning has been issued. The next day on **th Jan, Make My Trip sent me official confirmation that there is a Cyclone threat and the related activities are cancelled. They also said that they will provide me refund for it. I waited that day and I tried to contact them on **th and **th Jan. On the next day, they said the flights have started working and trip will continue and no refund will be done. How can someone go to a place after the cyclone has just happened? I would have gone on the trip if there was no cyclone threat warning. They are just ignoring my requests and they are saying no refund will be provided due to policy.
