I find it to be misleading and contains additional misinterpretation. It seems that you are not associated with the company for long, so you are unaware of lifetime validity. Please consult your seniors and/or Mr Bharti Mittal, who will apprise you of lifetime validity. As already conveyed to you in my email, my subscription and association with Airtel are very old, around ****-**. The offer of lifetime validity was made to users those days with **** rupees as a deposit and no calls were offered against this deposit. Based on this payment, I was given lifetime validity say up to the year ****. Subsequently, Mr Bharti Mittal had informed the general public through electronic media that to continue lifetime validity. The users can simply pay Rs. ** for every * months and that will be sufficient to continue the relationship with Airtel and the incoming calls will continue for a lifetime. While I was in Gujarat till May ****, there was no problem regarding validity and incoming calls were allowed all these years from **** up to May ****. And I was informed through sms that my validity is up to the year ****. Subsequently, on migration to Delhi NCR, I changed the zone/circle and now I got the message that outgoing calls will be allowed on subscription, and up to ** days and ** days thereafter incoming calls will also be stopped. This stand taken by Airtel is incorrect, unhealthy and unfair trade practice because my incoming calls are free up to the year **** and you cannot bar this facility. I had donated the required amount as per the policy of Airtel those days. Here, the Airtel has created the trust deficit. It means Airtel is no more trustworthy. You seem to have been pressurized to increase average revenue per user, so such irresponsible reply to me. In view of the above, you are requested to discuss my case, and similar other cases, if any, with your seniors at management level, and restore my plan in the software, i.e. validity up to **** (or till my death if I die earlier) for incoming calls. It goes without saying that I shall continue to recharge from time to time as required. I shall appreciate your early reply confirming the restoration of my old plan lifetime validity. I would certainly not appreciate if your reply is negative and in that case, I would file an appeal and further go to TRAI as per the consumer protection provisions. The other explanations given in your reply are unnecessary and do not require my attention.

The above mail was sent to m/s Airtel, Delhi in response to their mail reply. The validity of my mobile was available up to the year ****. This is denied and I am forced to pay every ** days. Lakhs of consumers are affected by this kind of cheating by Airtel.
