- Incorrect Weight Disputes by Shiprocket Delhivery Courier Companu Open
Hi, we have a small business and work from home with mostly dependent on the courier. We have been facing issues with shiprocket and especially courier being sent via Delhivery wherein they come back after almost a month every time quoting dispute in weight entered by us. We have been rejecting those disputes with our proof but at times they accept and others they reject. We have been ignoring this for some time now being smaller amounts like up to Rs ** but it's getting difficult now as this time they have raised a dispute of Rs *** which is not even our profit amount from the order.
We booked a courier on **th January which was picked up on **th January **** and delivered on *nd February ****. AWB - *************. We received a dispute on **th February **** which again I rejected after uploading my documents but this time again they refused my documents and the dispute raised was more than double the actual amount. My original dimensions of items were **cm X **cm X *cm and weight of *.* kg but still, I had taken some extras just in case they come back and had put the volumetric weight of *.* kg. But to my surprise this time they came back with a volume of **.*cm X **.*cm X **cm which is *.** kg just a little over *kg to ensure my parcel is coming in * kg bracket. Everytime they send a dispute, its always just a little above than the closest bracket like *.** kg or *.** kg to ensure they are making extra money from sellers. I have sent multiple emails to shiprocket also but to my surprise, it seems a robot is just replying back with same copy-paste of the email.
It is not a big amount for which I am seeking assistance but moreover, it's the habit which these guys are into to make extra money from sellers which needs to be stopped or at-least the process needs to be changed.
The other issue is why is the dispute raised after several days of delivery and why not next day of pick up as i am sure the courier companies are taking dimensions as soon as items are picked. So, why not send a notification same time to seller so that he knows about issue before delivery of the item rather sometimes after a month of delivery.
