Hello,
I am a frequent customer of OYO and have been availing their services almost in every city and property type for the past few years. I experienced both positive and negative services hence; I gave feedbacks accordingly on their platform and other online platforms.
For COVID-**, I can understand that even their business had gone through a terrible phase. However, as per their advertisements and claims, OYO is also taking considerable precautions to get in the line of their business and restarted the services.
Therefore, it gave me hope to choose OYO and book one of their properties. But later did I realize that I'm stuck in such a situation where yet again inconvenience overweighted the positive approach that OYO usually provides.
This is regarding the booking PGTF****, OYO Code Capital O *****, which I booked through call, on Tuesday the **th of September **** for * nights (**th to **th of SEP, ****). The Customer service executive helped me and recommended me to book this property and provided me with a very good price after discount, which is Rs. **** for a Deluxe *X room.
Upon successful booking, after * days, that is this morning, I had received an SMS mentioning that "Due to unavoidable circumstances, we need to change your booking to another hotel."
Thereafter, I clicked on the provided link and it automatically booked a different property without even further details.
Since then I tried to reach out to OYO customer support via call and online assistant, however; I didn't get any response, and the call gets disconnected every time I try to connect.
Since I have plans to stay for * nights and there won't be any changes in my plans; I need to know about a few things.
*. Why and for what reason the previous booking got canceled? I need a proper reason.
*. Will the quality of Deluxe*X rooms in my previous booking and current booking the same?
*. Why did the CSE booked the property for me if there was an issue, shouldn't he have inquired with the hotel first prior to booking?
*. The price mentioned in my current booking hasn't changed (Which is a good thing). What if the new property charges extra as their rates are higher compared to the previous one?
*. What is the surety that my current booking will not get canceled after a few days?
*. Why are all the hotels displayed for booking in the App and website, where in reality they are not accepting any bookings and later cancel and gives inconvenience to customers?
Kindly, resolve my matter as soon as possible. I would be happy to receive a call from their end to have more clarity and confirm my current booking status and need an explanation of my previous booking.

Even after cancellation of booking. Money not refunded yet.
I have booked an Oyo room today and made online UPI payment . The transaction was successful, money was deducted from my account but in the Oyo app it still shows payment pending.
I was denied check in at an oyo hotel after having a confirmed booking, I was told to pay extra to get a hotel room directly without a booking.
