I booked Oyo Hotel for my long-planned holiday at Gokarna With booking ID JLCN****.
What Happened:-
Booking was confirmed and the next day I received below message on WhatsApp:
Hi Ankesh, Due to unavoidable circumstances, we need to change* your booking JLCN**** from OYO ***** Hotel Royal Valley to another hotel. Click on link https://www.oyorooms.com/upgrade-booking/*********?utm_source=overbooking to select your new hotel. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

What I did:-
I tried selecting another hotel from the link which never helped me to book another Oyo as URL itself didn't open after selecting the hotel.
I called customer care and patiently waited for the customer service executive to resolve the issue for more than * hour.
What Oyo Did:-
Buzzed me off by disconnecting the call.
What I did:-
Again called Oyo and this time waited for almost * hours and sent the WhatsApp screenshot over mail.
I asked them to give me a confirmation about the booking.
What Oyo did:-
After keeping me on hold for so long they gave the confirmation on the call for which I have recordings and on the mail chain as well.
I asked if I am getting any surprises I will not be liable for any loss then.
What I did:-
I traveled from Bangalore from * AM and reached at * PM. Went to the hotel. And I got to know that there is no booking.
I called Oyo to solve this but they again kept me on hold for almost * hour.
What I am doing:-
There is no hotel to stay in as all the hotels are full.
I don't have the battery on my cell. I am taking a cab and returning to Bangalore.
