- Harassed and still sim not activated Open
This is to bring to your notice that I got my airtel sim which was not working as on **.**.****. On which I call their customer care and they told me to take out the sim and place it after ** - ** minutes which I did. It didn't work so after calling them for * times the same suggestion was suggested to me repeatedly and afterword they told me to go to the store and get the sim changed. I went to airtel store i.e located in sector **, Chandigarh, ****** and they again told me to switch off the phone and take the sim out and wait for ** minutes and then after when it didn't work and I told them I have already done that thing from morning they said okay we'll change the sim. I need to deposit the documents again and then I asked them it is my postpaid number then why you want my documents again but they said they require and I told them I am not carrying Adhaar card so I will submit to you later on but still they said they want. I need to call and get my documents and furthermore they said it will get activated after * hours and I even asked them if they are sure and they promised me but it didn't get activated. They told me to call customer care. Next day was Sunday store closed and I again call the customer care but really the worst help you can ever get. Today i.e **.**.****, I went to Airtel store, sector **, Chandigarh narrate the whole story and the guy said talk to customer care which really pissed me off as they were saying go to the store cannot help you from my side and they were saying call customer care but anyhow he then said wait I'll call my senior to the senior firstly kept me waiting and then when he came he asked me to narrate the whole story again to him. At the time when I was to told him his phone came and without any courtesy he took his call and I was standing like a fool for almost ** minutes more and I already told them that I am a salaried person and need to reach my office but he completed all his talk and then came to me and again as an idiot who didn't have any other option but to narrate him everything. He was with his attitude he doesn't give dam as any of this was his concern and then he asked the other guy what exactly is my problem he said their sim is not activated yet and they don't know the reason but I have to deposit the documents again as it is cancelled and then I said him that I want to port my number, he said koi na kra lena but uske liye bhi pehle sim activate krana pdega and he meant it in such a manner cannot even explain as all my transaction send "OTP" number on this number and was not able to pay my dues which got me fined. Moreover, some of my services also got discontinued as I failed to make the payments. Big stores must provide their valued customers with the best products and services to ensure retention of their clients.
I hope that you’ll consider my request. Kindly let me know what you are going to do about this defective product (sim) and how you can facilitate me for my loss.
