- Fridge compressor under warranty but not replaced Closed

I have purchased a whirlpool fridge in year **** (mfg date/month/year also mentioned on fridge **/**/****) under ** year compressor warranty. Now my fridge compressor is not working and my bill also misplaced, when I call to customer care, he replied that without bill, fridge compressor is out of warranty. When fridge manufacturing date is **** and current year is **** that mean fridge age is * year, than why company denie to give warranty as mentioned on fridge also
