I ordered my dinner through Swiggy on Sat */**/****, at *:** pm, ref #***********.
There was no update about my food till **:** pm at which time I contacted the delivery partner. He mentioned his bike broke down and asked that I should contact Swiggy who would arrange someone else to deliver the food. I contacted swiggy through the app chat at about **:** pm and couldn't get any help from the customer service agent. I requested multiple times someone call me which was not responded to.
I was asked to cancel the order and place a fresh order. I clarified to her that it was already too late in the night, most of them would not deliver food and I was already too hungry. Finally, she obliged that someone would deliver the food and closed the chat thread. I waited for another ** minutes and contacted swiggy back again. The customer service agent started replying to me which appeared copy paste templates and never helped me with food. At most what he could help was with cancelling my food at about **:** in vain I went to bed empty stomach.
The customer service was pathetic and no attempt was made to deliver the food that was ready and had to be just picked up and delivered. This is unacceptable by any standards and I wouldn't be surprised if I am the only victim here.
