FedEx - FedEx Package not delivered

I was suppose to receive my package on Friday November **th. It was scanned into the local fedex facility Friday morning then showed on delivery vehicle out for delivery. * hours later it showed back at the facility for next day delivery. (Dec. *st). I was told there was a scanning error on the part of fedex and was assured I’d receive my package on Saturday Dec. *st. * days I arranged my very busy schedule to be home for this delivery. It was getting late Saturday so I called fed ex and wanted to know the status of my package. They said they’d spoken with the driver and the driver said he had tons of deliveries that day so may not deliver my package that evening. I explained I’d already had to wait a day due to an error on FedEx’s part so why would my delivery be, yet again, not a priority?! He said he’d let the driver know and also have the driver call me. No call. So, everyone else’s delivery was of more importance and delivered ahead of mine, while my package (which is a very nice chair) remains on a truck for *-* days??!!! I even saw a FedEx truck earlier that evening drive right by my house around *pm Saturday and left the neighborhood with no delivery to any house in my neighborhood (he was clearly lost). I followed the truck who was also lost in an adjacent neighborhood (thinking surely this is my delivery) and when I spoke to him, he said no, it’s a different driver. I gave him my business card & asked that he please have that driver call me. No call. Had I not called later and spoke with a FedEx rep, I would've never known at all that my package may not arrive Saturday evening. So, now that apparently they don’t deliver on Sunday, I have to wait until Monday (wishful thinking!) to receive my package. Is this bc it’s a chair and wasn’t a priority bc it’s a heavier item than usual?? It also shows * different delivery methods: FedEx Ground & then it said FedEx Home Delivery. This entire experience has been a stressful nightmare. It’s ridiculous, inexcusable and makes zero sense. This is absolutely the most Unnacceptable, Disrespectful, Horrible experience & customer service ever!!! I am beyond angry and upset and if I can help it, I will Never use FexEx ever again.
