- Fake product delivered with a delay in shipping Open
I have ordered an item with order number AL********-******* on **th **** under same day delivery schema and paid ** rupees extra for gift wrap. But I waited for the day and on **th Feb I requested to cancel my order as the significance of that order is no longer because it was a surprise gift for my fiance on valentine's day but they delivered the order on **th Feb. My mind blows up when my fiance shares the picture of the gift which she received. It was wrapped in a plastic transparent poly bag and the quality of the product was very poor and I didn't find any Archies tag on that product. So suddenly I contacted shipping boy and found that he came from some local vendor shop (cupid florist). Even the product is totally different which was shown on archiesonline.com.
Without wasting my time I tried to contact the customer care and as expected no response, so I send a mail to their customer care service about this incident but got totally irrelevant response, which was " we couldn't able to deliver your gift because recipient was not present at shipping location and we don't have re-shipping and refund policy. "
Now you can assume what kind of business they do. They trained customer care executive to paste this answer without even reading the queries and I am pretty sure in **% cases this answer works but not in my case. ** If you guys want I can share the full reply where they put their policy as well. This answer is a loophole of **% complaints, without proof they can easily say that, they didn't find the receiver, due to our policy we neither refund nor deliver again. But in my case, this answer didn't work and they refused to return my money without any reason.
So my request you to all please boycott such kind of businesses which are not customer-centric, might be you have good experience with this company but you never know when that day comes when you also need to fight like me. Money is not only a concern, but I also wasted a lot of irreparable time. So my concern is don't buy any product from this company and teach them a lesson.
