Oneassist - Duped by fraudulent Insurance Company

Recently purchased a brand new watch from an Apple Premium Reseller named Unicorn Infotech Solutions for **, *** and they suggested to get the watch insured for *, *** with one of their partners, One Assist in the presence of their One Assist Agent trying to ensure that all of the problem that I would face would be covered regarding my Watch. That would include all kinds of Accidental, Liquid, Hardware and all the problems that one might face.
Much to my disheartenment I had "Unwillingly", "Unknowingly", "Accidentally", "Unintentionally" (Please note that all these comes under the clause in their terms and conditions suggesting that either one of these point will help me get my claim) dropped my watch which led to the screen shattering. This prompted me to file for a claim with One Assist and they sent over one of their agents to collect me watch and a few days later gave me the update stating that they had sent my watch for an estimation cost which accumulated to "**, ***". And then a few days later, they had rejected my claim based on the description that I had provided on the incident, with one of their agents explaining to me over the phone that since there was no external force, they have rejected my claim. This came much to my surprise, after reading their terms and conditions that even if there was no external force, they still would approve my claim on the other * factors, "Unwillingness" and "accidental. My filling of the description of the incident which would make any sensible and even non-sensible person in this whole world to accept the fact that it was indeed an unwilling accident as, I would not want to willingly shatter my watch on the ground that I had spent months saving for. One Assist completely disowned my claim giving me various reasons at first for external force and later on stating that it was because of "IMPROPER HANDLING".
The word "Improper Handling" does not have many but one meaning, singularly stating that one must have handled a certain object in the wrong/unusual way. How pathetic can a company be to stoop so low as to configure and state "Improper Handling" as an excuse and reason for the rejection of the claim.
My claim description was in the lines of "The watch, while undressing myself, unknowingly unhinged itself and fell to the ground".
And this was deemed as improper handling. The irony is that I was being blamed after only *-* days of buying my watch by OneAssist that I had purposely broken my own watch.
Was I swinging the watch in the air? No.
Was I throwing my watch left and right like a ball? No.
Did I "Intentionally" drop my watch to the ground? No.
And I was deemed insane by the OneAssist Customer Support who would promise me that I would get to talk to their Supervisors in **hours on * different instances but not even a Single Message, Call, Mail or anything.
This is what their Terms & Conditions for Product under their "Wearable" "Accidental & Liquid Damage" plan is which I had bought.
*.* “Accidental Damage” mean damage to the Insured Product due to unintentional drop or collision of the Insured Product or any object falling on the Insured Product or due to accidental external means.
And * factors are clearly stated that could be availed either way because of "Or" but, one reason initially stating "No external factor" and then "Improper Handling".
No wonder there are thousands upon thousands of complaints by consumers available to read so easily on the internet against One Assist by just typing their Company Name on any search engine. I wish I would've come across these complains and reviews before I trusted both the Apple Premium Reseller who has partnered with a company of this caricature or even the fraudulent company itself. And the funniest part is I haven't even received my **, *** Apple Watch back.
I have already filed an FIR and mailed and currently in talks with Apple to look into their Indian Counterparts which would be the Authorised Premium Reseller to not let a company who dooms people into a partnership as it is not providing its services based on its own Terms & Conditions.
Much to my relief I have also used the Consumer Court forum which would greatly help me as I have gone through the worst experience mentally and emotionally consuming my work hours, wasting my days following various dead-ends by being fooled following the instructions that lead to no where.
My Client Number regarding the case was *******, which is quite useless to post but writing just to showcase one of the hidden readers who might be connected to OneAssist to be aware of the consequences that they would face.
