I placed an order with Ten ** restaurant on May **rd, **** at *:** pm with order number #************ from my account registered with mobile number +**-********** and email address email@example.com. The amount spent was Rs *** along with a promotion of Rs **. I ordered a full plate of Chilli Chicken Gravy (* Pcs).
So, when the order arrived, I was shocked to find that the food was not properly packed and there was no seal of Swiggy and it was just a polythene container put in a small plastic bag. So, there was only one small piece of broiler chicken instead of * pieces inside the container. Besides, when I smelled it, the gravy appeared to be bad and stinking. I immediately contacted the restaurant but they accused me of lying, were rude and hung up on me. Also, it might be possible that meat pieces were stolen by the delivery person as no packing and seal was present on the container.
So, I tried to get in touch with Swiggy customer support and I was disappointed that they do not have a direct contact number and the virtual chat support asked me to contact them through email which I did and waited ** hours. After ** hours I just received a apologize mail from Swiggy email team and they denied me a refund stating that the pictures which I have provided is not up to their standard. If that is the case, there should be some information on their website guiding consumers about standards to be followed in such kind of incidents. Even they do not have a live chat support team or any customer care number who can guide us with the same. I have just informed about this ** hours later which is really not acceptable.
So, I hereby brought forward this incident of fraudery and pathetic customer service on Swiggy's part and request you to intervene here and help me to recover my hard earned money to my original source of payment. Also, I want to be compensated as this has been very much traumatic to me. I have attached here images of the item as I received it, original bill and email communication with their support team as a evidence on this case.
