I wish to report an incident of fraudulent activity and poor customer service by Swiggy, which resulted in a financial loss of ₹*** due to a non-refunded order that was marked as "delivered" but never actually reached me.
On *th October ****, I placed a food order through the Swiggy app, with the Order ID #***************, paying ₹*** for the meal. When the delivery status changed to "delivered," I immediately checked and found that the order was not delivered to my address. I attempted to contact the assigned delivery partner, but my calls went unanswered.
Following this, I contacted Swiggy's customer care for assistance. I was kept on hold for approximately ** minutes before the call was disconnected abruptly, without any support being provided. This left me with no immediate recourse to resolve the issue.
I subsequently sent a detailed email to Swiggy's support team explaining the entire situation and requesting a refund for the undelivered order. However, Swiggy's response was a denial of the refund, without providing any explanation for how the decision was reached or details about the investigation process. The lack of transparency and refusal to resolve the issue have caused me considerable inconvenience and frustration.
This incident not only represents financial loss but also highlights a failure on Swiggy's part to address fraudulent behavior by their delivery partners and provide adequate customer support. I demand a full refund of ₹*** and request that the Consumer Forum investigate Swiggy's handling of such cases, as this incident reflects a broader problem with their service quality and accountability.
I am prepared to provide all necessary documentation, including emails, order details, and call records, to support this complaint. I request prompt action to ensure justice and fair treatment in this matter.
